Homemade will be closed from Friday 30th July to Tuesday August 31st 2010. We re open on Wednesday September 1st. We close due to outside catering commitments - namely Weddings.
Homemade Deli
We have recently expanded Homemade and opened a small deli selling olives, antipasti, Yorkshire cheeses, handmade pates and Welsh rarebit as well as an array of fabulous jars of jams, jellies, chutneys, relishes, sauces and dressings, the Award winning Pipers crisps, nuts, spicy broadbeans, biscuits and crackers and of course loose leaf teas and coffee beans ground the way you like them.Friday Night is Bistro Night
Every Friday we are open between 7-10.30 for our Bistro Night. We offer a two or three course set menu with fish/meat options. Bring Your Own Wine. Bookings recommended. Currently we are not offering Saturday night bistro evenings but hope to offer these in October and November.
Burger and Shake Night
Our Burger and Shake night has become so popular, we advise that you book a table. Homemade will re launch the Burger Night after the summer break, on Wednesday September 8th from 5-9pm. We hand make seven burgers, five veggie, two meat and four of them are gluten free! Currently we can offer a Burger and Shake Night to a private party booking of 18 or more people.
Christmas Parties at Homemade
We will be advertising our Christmas Menu from mid September. Group bookings are welcomed. To have the whole space you will need to be a group of 24 or more. To share the space with another group, we need a minimum of 15 people per group. Its bring your own wine and we just charge £1 per head corkage. Book early to avoid disappointment!
Want the cafe for private party?
Are you interested in meeting up with friends for an evening at the café? We often cater for book groups, birthday parties, work related social events and meetings, societies and clubs.
We take bookings for private events on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings from 7.00-10.00. Minimum of 10 people, maximum of 36. Saturday evening bookings are for groups of 18 or more. We offer a two course menu from £16.50 per head, or £20 per head for three courses. Price includes pre dinner appetizers and we only charge £1 a head corkage on your wine.
