Burger and Shake Night is back, yes its back...
Burger and Shake Night returns on Wednesday 18th April 2012. Whilst we had a rest, we invented two more new burgers! Burger and Shake Night will run from April 18th until the beginning of August. We offer 5 handmade vegetarian burgers (some are vegan, some are gluten free) and 3 handmade meat burgers (all gluten free) . We make our own milkshakes and offer 'food for little ones' . We do not operate a BYO on Burger Night and your table is almost always in a 90 minute slot due to popularity. Last orders are at 8pm and we start serving at 5pm. Please text or call us to book a table if you know you want a particular night. Prices start at £7.50 for an adult meal, the homemade shakes are £2.50
Saturday Sharing Plates
A night still in it's infancy, compared to the Friday Bistro, but filling up every time it runs . Sharing Plates is tapas style food - the homemade way ! You start with a selection of homemade dips and oils, breads and olives, or speciality nuts and seeds, our harissa almonds or dukkah. We then bring you one of our Sharing Plates filled with our salads and potatoes of the night accompanied by your choice of meat, fish or vegetarian food from our menu. Priced at £15 per head, with BYO wine or beer £2/£1.50 corkage... its a night worth trying, especially with groups of friends. The next Sharing Plates evenings will run on Saturday 12th May, Saturday 2nd June and Saturday 23rd June. The 12th May and 2nd June have a Mexican menu whilst the 23rd will be the first of two Mediterranean evenings.
Friday Night is Bistro Night
Two Fridays per month we are open between 7.30 -10pm for our Bistro Night. We offer a two or three course set menu with fish/meat options. Bring Your Own Wine. Priced at £16.50/£20 per head, with BYO wine or beer £2/£1.50 corkage... its our signature evening. Booking is essential. Bistro nights are scheduled for Friday April 20th, Friday 4th May, Friday 18th May and Friday 15th June. More dates will follow.

We are excited about our new hand baked Cookies! Thanks to the genius of Delia at Campervan Cookies, we are selling these personalised cookies in the cafe and deli, including a small Boxed Cookies .. seeing is believing!
Sunday Brunch
Homemade now opens on Sundays . We offer a brunch menu from 10.00am til 2pm every Sunday except Bank Holidays. Some of our classic offerings such as The Veggie Stack, Welsh Rarebit with Henderson's Relish and Quesedillas will feature alongside Healthy Options, Belgian Waffles and filled Bagels.
Homemade Deli
Inside our little deli we sell olives, antipasti, Yorkshire cheeses, handmade pates and sandwiches to takeaway every day, as well as an array of fabulous jars of jams, jellies, chutneys, relishes, sauces and dressings, the Award winning Pipers crisps, nuts, spicy broadbeans, biscuits and crackers and of course loose leaf teas and coffee beans ground the way you like them. Our range of jams, chutneys and relishes made by Clippy, are produced near Manchester and use British apples as the basis of every flavour. Our favourites are Apple and Blueberry jam, Apple and Plum Chutney and Apple, Roasted Pepper and Garlic Relish. Why not try Clippy's Apple, Garlic and Thyme Jelly or Redcurrant and Apple Jelly, both great with Spring Lamb.Come along to the cafe!
In 2010 we were awarded 5 stars in the 'Scores on The Doors' for excellent standards in food hygiene! We pride ourselves in offering a clean environment with daily fresh food. Want the cafe for private party?
Are you interested in meeting up with friends for an evening at the café? We often cater for book groups, birthday parties, work related social events and meetings, societies and clubs.
We take bookings for private events on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings from 7.00-10.00. Minimum of 15 people, maximum of 36. Saturday evening bookings are for groups of 24 or more. We offer a two course menu from £16.50 per head, or £20 per head for three courses. Price includes pre dinner appetizers and we only charge £2 a bottle on corkage on your wine.
